Module 1 Assignments

Assignment 1:

Spent at least 1 hour experimenting with different tools (palette knife, brushes) and techniques (blending, scraping, impasto (thick paint) on a canvas or large paper. Focus on texture and mark-making rather than creating a finished piece.

Assignment 2:

Create a loose floral painting using limitations like only palette knife use, a limited color palette, or set a timer. Look back at the list in lesson 1 to find ideas to try.
