I’ve been playing with the idea of painting a collection of abstract florals and landscapes. This big 36 x 36 canvas was a playground for me recently. Abstract work is NOT easy. I have to admit that in the past I was one to look at abstracts with the idea that “anyone could do that” BUT…nope. It’s not easy to put the right colors in the right places. It’s hard to find balance and depth when you are creating abstract work. I love this challenge and plan to keep working on finding my own abstract look. I think I’m on to something here…
