Do you have dreams?
Are you a creative person working at home on your creations and dreaming of making that hobby something bigger?
I want to encourage you!
I have been running my little art biz from home since 2012. It didn’t begin as a business, though. It was really just a fun hobby that accidentally turned into more than I could have planned even if I had really tried. I had no idea that things would turn out the way that they have! Who knew, 4 years ago, that I would be doing what I am doing now!? NOT ME! That’s for sure!
As things progressed, I began learning about how to really do this! I read books and blogs about creative businesses. I’ve listened to podcasts and watched coaching videos, and I’ve dreamed. I’ve even written down some of those dreams, and do you know what? Some of the things that I thought were just silly impossible ideas are actually beginning to happen!
Last year, I was reading a creative business coaching book. One of the exercises in it instructed me to write down what my business would look like in my biggest and wildest dreams. One of the things I wrote was that I’d love to have my own studio. Guess what….it happened. Another thing on my list was to wake up every day and be able to work on something creative….it’s happening. And one more exciting dream is coming true this week! I am adding my very first team member to help me with all of my online tasks! I am hiring help!? Can I believe that? NO! LOL!! I am beyond excited!
Renee is going to be my new virtual assistant, and I know she will be a HUGE addition to my business. I’d love for you to take a look at her site, and what she has to offer. She’s pretty awesome!
I’m not telling you all of this to be boastful, and I truly hope it doesn’t appear that way.
I am telling you this to encourage you to DREAM BIG and keep going! If I can do this, you can do it!
I’d really like to help you, and I plan to post some things here on the blog just for creatives who are interested in starting an online business. I don’t claim to know all the answers, but I want to share with you a few things that I have learned from others and from my own experiences.
As I begin brainstorming and getting some things together to share with you, I would love to know if you have any questions. Post them in the comments below if you do.
Dear Creative Friend,
You have no idea what your future may hold!

Keep on working!
