My week of practicing human figures has progressed a little bit. I’m still mostly doing the same position, but this time I tried it with watercolors. I have to say this was much more of a challenge than the acrylics have been, but I like the soft flowing colors that I can create with watercolors.
I decided to add John 4:13-14 to the top because it just fit this piece so well. I don’t usually have scriptures in mind when I begin to work on a painting but tend to be reminded of them after the painting is complete.
I may offer these as prints and include the scripture on it when I open back up in January. Right now I’m just learning and having fun.
