When I began painting and selling my work online, I found something exciting and rewarding. I love to create!! It’s something that I have to do whether I sell any of it or not! It’s part of who I am.
However, when I began teaching classes online I had no idea how exciting and rewarding this part of my art journey would become. It was a natural and very organic transition from learning, painting, selling to learning, painting, sharing. In all openness, I began teaching online for financial reasons. I mean, I do have an online art business, so adding teaching into the mix was just the next step. Nothing could have prepared me for the unbelievable blessings that I have gained from the community of amazing people that I call My Creative Community.
Just like me, these other artists are gaining so much more than just a painting lesson from our group. There is constant encouragement, love, connection, and support in our group. Everyone is growing in their gift of creativity but they are also gaining friendships, calm from the chaos of life, and healing for broken hearts.
I want to share with you a couple of videos created by members of our group. I have to say that they both made me cry. First you’ll hear from Jennifer and then Donna. I am so thankful to be the leader of this group, and they all just bless my heart every day.
