This Week’s Featured Friend: Gracious Spaces

I’ve got a new friend to share with you all this week! Jennifer, the owner of Gracious Spaces, is a wonderful Christian lady, wife, and mother with a great eye for style and frugal home decor. I can’t wait for you all to see more of what she has to offer!!
Here’s a little bit about her in her own words:

I graduated from David Lipscomb University in 1993 where I earned my BA in Political Science Communications with a minor in Journalism. Later that year I married my best friend and had two beautiful sons, ages 15 and 13. I love being wife and mom and spending time with my family & friends. I also enjoy yard sales, cooking, DIY crafts, politics, and working outside. What began as a hobby when my first son was born evolved into my love for interior decorating and home staging. While my children were young, I found that rearranging furniture and accessories was not only a great money-saving tool but was also my passion. I saw the value of making home a warm sanctuary and how that longing existed for most every woman I knew. So, over the years I studied, researched, and worked on various projects in my own home. I also helped friends with decorating dilemmas in their homes. Finally in 2010 I took a leap of faith and started my own interior styling & home staging business that  I named Gracious Spaces.I think our homes really set a tone for our family, for good or bad. When our space is chaotic we tend to mimic that behavior in our everyday lives. But when a space feels fresh, balanced, and ordered we naturally feel more calm and content. I think bringing order and beauty to the home fulfills a longing that exists in the hearts of women, carrying out God’s first purpose for us . . . being a true “home” maker.

You all know I am ALL ABOUT re-purposed, shabby chic, vintage everything!! Well, here are a few photos of DIY projects by Jennifer that are just awesome!
